This gallery includes images captured in the ancient ruins of Ephesus as well as the coastal city of Kusadasi. That evening included a second trip to Ephesus for classical music and beverages among the ruins.
There are a number of information posters spread throughout the ancient ruins of Ephesus. These posters provide text explanations in Turkish, English and German. In several cases I've blown up the English section of the poster to allow the text to be read on this website. The German language appears because of the strong involvement by the Austrians in the development and research into the sprawling ruins of Ephesus. A poster at both of the entrances to the ruins provides a brief history of the research activities at Ephesus and is included in this gallery.
