This gallery is a collection of photos taken in and around the National Museum of the Marine Corps where a service and reception to honor the life of Ann (Bancroft) Freund was held. Her husband, Lee, is a retired Marine and a number of his USNA classmates attended to support Lee and honor Ann.
Activities began by paying respects to Ann. lying in the Chapel adjacent to the museum. Family friends and well wishers then walked to the museum proper and participated in a service held in the museum theater. Following the service, a reception/celebration of life was held on the second floor of the museum. For close family members, a graveside committal service for Ann was conducted at the nearby Quantico National Cemetery between the service and the reception.
