This gallery contains a collection of photos taken during the burial ceremony for Janet Speer at the Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, CA. The ceremony took place early afternoon on the 10th of March. It was a beautiful, sunny San Diego day. The ceremony was attended by family and friends including Janet's school and nursing friends and several of Brad Speer's USNA classmates and wives. As a Navy veteran, Janet was given military honors during the ceremony. The two prominent features of the accompanying honors were the playing of taps by two military buglers and the folding and presentation of the coffin flag to Janet's husband, Brad. At the conclusion of the military honors, several ladies offered their eulogies of Janet before the group departed for a celebration of life reception at the Southwestern Yacht Club on Point Loma.
