While I was in Albuquerque to photograph the Annular Solar Eclipse, kind friends took me to the 'Glow' event on the evening of 14 October. The balloons all stay on the ground, but periodically flames are used to illuminate the balloons which stand out against the darkening sky. It began approximately 6pm and finished approximately 7:30pm. My first experience at a balloon festival.
