This gallery captures images of the Total Solar Eclipse that were photographed from the parking lot of the Best Western Plus in Lampasas, Texas. While the weather proved to be better than predicted the day before, the clouds were a hindrance and resulted in some compromises while photographing the eclipse. Fortunately, there were enough clear periods to capture some of the more interesting aspects of the eclipse during totality. The first image is a more complete ensemble of the eclipse because it was a 600mm equivalent using a wide spread of bracketed images to compensate for the clouds. After a few successful partial eclipse images, the remaining images were primarily those that were bracketed and taken during totality using a telescope whose focal length was 488mm.
