This proved to be a challenging hike undertaken as an excursion during our visit to Alesund, Norway. Mud, large rocks, tree roots, and mist made the climb memorable. At a convenient spot with good views, about half of us chose to stay behind, while those much faster took a sprint to the top. The second half broke into the clear and was a series of irregular boulder over which to scramble and climb - steeply at times. A few photos tried to capture the second part of the trail.
