This was our first stop in Norway. We worked our way south and east from here to reach Oslo on the morning of the 23rd.
Initially, it was a beautiful day, but after coming in from sea and reaching Alesund, it was largely a gray day with thick cloud cover. The sun started breaking through a little about sunset.
The highlight for us was a hike that concluded just before sunset and which only a portion of the hikers were able to complete. Views from the halfway point are included.
